The heartfelt collection is my solution to painting with depth of purpose. Liking to find shapes that respond to my thoughts. I like to see inside and understand the mechanics . . . the subtle variations and true core of being . . . so this collection of fruit is the inside view or an altered perspective on our luscious . . . sweet . . . natural friends . . .

. . . but these friends are not silly . . . and overly playful . . . they honor fruit with a quiet dignity . . . a painterly way . . . they are in every way a depiction of fruit but with an added personality . . . a heartfelt manner . . .  no matter the variation it is still . . . a valuable harvest messenger

When you look at the apple you might notice that it is . . . not a perfect example . . . or a chosen variety . . . it is a piece . . . in half . . . nothing hidden . . . tear drop seeds . . . sturdy stem and leaf but it also displays a sincere center . . . it s also surrounded with many friends . . . a pattern of nurturing hearts . . . the echo of an abundant nature . . . giving . . . sharing . . . sustaining . . .

When you look into the apple you see graceful trailing lines . . . showing you the essence of the fruit . . . the heart of the vine . . . the inside scoop . . . the reason why it is here . . . the nurturing reminder . . .
